Tom & Jerry in Central Asia

This is the diary of a trip to Pakistan - China - Kyrgyzstan in 2004 by Tom de Neef and Emile Gevers. (There is also a Dutch version.)

We had booked only the international flights to Islamabad and back from Bishkek, via Istanbul to Amsteram. For the rest we relied completely on transport that could be arranged locally. We carried a backpack with some clothes; and no equipment worth mentioning.

Just for the record: we had good experience with these operators:
Rahat Shah (Gilgit - Pakistan)
Fantasia (Torugart pass)
Yak tours (Karakol)
