France 2003 with good friends
Here you can see some pictures of the holiday I had with some very good friends. First I drove to Clermont Ferrand, to meet up with the two of them. A couple of days later we went to Vic sur Aisne, a little town between Compiegne and Soissons.
The goal was to enjoy the holiday, do some biking and drive the MG through the beautiful French countryside. This page shows the pictures from the first leg of the trip: around Clermont Ferrand.
That's how it started. The Jumbo car called a Sharan carried the bikes of Arwin and Saskia. Obviously they lug around a far larger tent as well. Clearly you have to do things different when you drive an MG - like I do. So the bike goes on the back.
Perhaps the most important on holiday: relaxing....
...cooking a good meal... Especially welcome after a bike trip.
...sleeping... And yes, my tent is a bit smaller.
The country side however is impressive. So the rest is well-deserved. As you can see on the pictures, the hills can be quite a challenge when you go biking.
