How
to make a contribution to this site?
By recommending books for me to read and/or review. At the moment all my ideas
come from my bookshelves and the members at my Yahoo! group (Books2Movies).
I know there are so many books in the world that I never heard of and won't ever hear of if I'm not tipped of by other people and very often these titles
are the best to read. So I'm always open for suggestions. Do not hesitate to
recommend some titles.
This said, please read the following (very important!)
1. I can't promise that your recommended title(s) will be added to the
reviews on this site. It is possible I really didn't like the book and
couldn't finish it, or I even didn't start the book. Also keep in mind that
reading costs time, so there probably won't be a review on the site a week
after you've suggested a title.
2. Also, don't get mad if a book you thought brilliant, I didn't receive as well
and only gave  or  .
There is no right or wrong in reviewing books and opinions may differ.
3. Don't recommend horror
or sci-fi books. I really don't like them and the chance I will ever read one of
those are slim to none.
4. I can't give you any
money for your recommendation. I'm writing these reviews in my spare time,
because I love doing it. I don't get paid for my work that is going in the site.
I can do something in return though and that is place your name at the top of
the review behind "title recommended by". You can thank me by ordering
books at Amazon.com through my site.
Keep these things in mind when entering a title.
How to enter a recommendation?
Just email me.
Give the title, the author and genre. You can also try to get me excited about a
book by telling me why you think this book should be read and/or reviewed by me.
Also make clear in your mail if you want to be notified if or when your
recommendation will be placed on the site. You may consider subscribing to my mailing
list if you do.
