Baupunkt 157 Seeziel Batterie Zuidzand

FL246 This battery is these days as far as we know completely covered with sand.      Registrationnumber of the fl246.
We got some pictures of the ammunitiondepot (typ Fl246) with number 6521. In this bunker the light ammunition for the four guns was stored.  The bunker could be closed with heavy steel doors. There was as usually in this bunkertype no shootinghole.          A steel door inside the bunker.
In the Fl 246 there were four big rooms to store the artillery-ammunition. These rooms were connected with each other.         A view throuw the rooms.
The bunkers was painted, so it was less easy to see from airplanes. Also the innerwalls close to the entrance were painted.        Paint on a innerwall near the exit. Also an airhole is vissible.
